Max teaches entrepreneurship at Duke University through the Innovation & Entrepreneurship initiative and the Fuqua School of Business. His New Ventures courses guide student founders from idea-stage customer discovery through scaling their first hundred customers, and he leads a recurring AI product-development workshop that has reached more than 500 students and faculty.

As Startup Portfolio Manager, Max advises more than 100 student startups on fundraising, product, hiring, and go-to-market. He serves as an Expert in Residence with open office hours for any Duke founder, and advises the Melissa & Doug Entrepreneur Program, Duke's premier accelerator.
